Judo, which is the modern and refined form of Jujitsu, is a very powerful Martial Art that teaches throwing, grappling, and choking techniques to control an opponent. Today a very popular Olympic sport, Judo training, in one form or another, has become an essential part of anyone's serious training in self-defense.
Shihan Jarrett holds the rank of 8th Dan in both Judo and Jujitsu and is a Life Member of the United States Judo Association (USJA). The Judo/Jujitsu branch of the USA Martial Arts Federation is the USA Judo/Jujitsu Association which is recognized by both the USJA, United States Jujitsu Federation, and the US Traditional Kodokan Judo Federation. Shihan Jarrett is the Vice President of the USJJF, and is the Technical Chairman of the USTKJF.
